Hydroplane Races

Since the mid-1960s the Tri City Water Follies have featured Hydroplane Races each July, on the beautiful Columbia River. 50,000 fans watch the world's fastest boats race at speeds of 200 mph. This community-wide event includes an air show, Art in the Park, and other shoreline activities.
